Summer Newsletter 2019
Topics for the Summer Term
Our lifecylce learning has been very successful. Our tadpoles grew into frogs and were relocated to the primary school wildlife garden and our caterpillars turned into 5 beautiful butterflies, which we watched fly away in our garden.
SPORTS AND HEALTHY BODIES
This week we are concentrating on Sports Day – Friday 5th July at 10.30am. There will be our usual programme of sporting events and the Committee will also be on hand to raise some much needed funds.
We have been thinking about all the things we need to do to make us healthy – from eating the right foods through to brushing our teeth and washing our hands.
The last two weeks of term we will be learning about holidays and the sea. We will be using ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ as a themed book.
Please could you notify staff of any changes to contact details on your child’s registration forms. This could be a change of address, phone number, people with permission to collect etc.
We finish for the Summer on the 24th July. Enjoy the sunshine!
